Sales and Business Development Specialist
iClassPro - Class Management Software
• Generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales activities • Conduct discovery calls and virtual software demonstrations with prospective clients • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, follow-up, and lead nurturing • Manage opportunities, activities, and customer interactions within HubSpot CRM • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through phone, email, social media, and other outreach methods • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts and coordinate follow-up as appropriate • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to represent iClassPro and generate new business opportunities • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and performance metrics • Collaborate with Sales and Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from initial contact through implementation • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and iClassPro product enhancements
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or a related customer-facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable building relationships through phone, video, email, and in-person interactions
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Experience using a CRM platform such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar system preferred
- Ability to learn new technology and effectively communicate software solutions to prospective customers
- Goal-oriented mindset with a desire to meet and exceed performance expectations
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, conferences, and company events as needed.

Role Description The Business Development/Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying, shaping, and developing growth opportunities across self‑directed Medicaid services, managed care, and emerging innovation markets. This role focuses on early‑stage market intelligence, partnership development, opportunity qualification, and strategic positioning. This position generates qualified opportunities and hands off fully shaped pursuits to leadership for execution. Success in this role depends on a deep understanding of self‑direction models, Medicaid waivers, MCO strategy, and government procurement timelines, combined with disciplined CRM execution and strong cross‑functional coordination.
