Role Description Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Qualifications - Education: - H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required - In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required - Work Experience: - No experience required Required - In lieu of degree, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required - Licenses and Certifications: - BCLS - Basic Life Support Required - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required - National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required Company Description Piedmont Medical Care Corporation
