Strategic Account Executive – OEM

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key global accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, becoming a trusted advisor. • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth, aligning with company objectives. • Work closely with internal teams—sales, marketing, product development, and customer support—to ensure a cohesive approach to client needs and expectations. • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for account growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. • Lead contract negotiations and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction. • Track and report on account performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and proactively addressing any issues. • Act as the voice of the client within the organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring timely resolution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, preferably in a global setting.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive initiatives to completion.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients globally, up to 25%.

• Develop a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue streams from an assigned book of business across the Cox Automotive suite. • Collaborate with team members in multiple departments at various auction locations and other Cox Automotive business units to ensure client service and client experience is constantly improving. • Develop opportunities with assigned key accounts for other Cox Automotive Solutions groups and collaborate with the sales teams to close these opportunities. • Create value-added solutions based on process to help clients and Inventory Solutions transact constantly and exceed sales goals.
