As a Senior/Staff Global Facilities Engineer - Mechanical at Micron, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that form the future of semiconductor technology. You will be in charge of providing excellent engineering services and support for the planning, development, construction, operation, and maintenance of critical facilities systems. This role highlights Global Standardization and Alignment, Innovation, Reliability and Performance, and Sustainability. Your duties encompass Semiconductor Mechanical and Process Systems like Cleanroom HVAC, Chilled Water, Heating Water, Makeup Air, Recirculation Air, Process Cooling Water, Process Exhaust, Compressed Air, Process Vacuum, General HVAC, Building, and Fire Protection systems, among others. Responsibilities: - Serve as the technical domain expert, providing guidance and support to global, regional, and site facilities and manufacturing teams. - Collaborate with internal teams (Technology Development, Procurement, Finance, Legal) to implement engineering solutions and drive innovation. - Analyze system designs to improve performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, and support problem-solving using standard methodologies. - Benchmark engineering practices across Micron and the industry to maintain and evolve best-known methods (BKMs). - Lead and support large-scale infrastructure design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with standards, codes, and regulations. - Develop and maintain global construction standards, specifications, and system concepts for deployment in new facilities. - Drive global initiatives focused on reliability, sustainability, and operational excellence, including emissions, energy, and water programs. - Consolidate lessons learned and feedback from global teams to continuously improve Micron's engineering standards and BKMs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. - 7-10 years of Design experience in the semiconductor and/or facilities-related industry. - Proficient in mechanical and process systems Design for semiconductor manufacturing and facilities. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. - Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-focused communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments and facility systems. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. - Demonstrated adaptability to dynamic project requirements and workload demands. Since 1981, we have supported federal agencies and their contractors in managing environmental impacts across aviation, defense, energy, and other federally funded initiatives. We specialize in the study, assessment, and mitigation of noise and vibration, air quality, and sustainability impacts, providing our clients with innovative, scientifically grounded solutions.  We are seeking a senior-level business developer and project manager to lead the strategic growth of our high-speed aerospace noise service area for projects funded or regulated by federal agencies. The ideal candidate is a recognized expert in the analysis of environmental aviation noise for both linear and non-linear acoustic sources (e.g., space launch, supersonic, and hypersonic vehicles) or related disciplines, with a strong record of managing complex projects and cultivating long-term relationships with federal agencies and contractors and commercial operators, and a passion for developing new market areas and expanding business opportunities in evolving markets.
