Role Description A Senior Project Manager at ANS delivers small to medium-sized projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope and quality standards. The role focuses on strong stakeholder communication, effective governance, and driving customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. - Leads and supports on escalations as required, stepping into Lead Project Management responsibilities when needed. - Able to work effectively across multiple delivery frameworks and diverse technology stacks. Roles and Responsibilities - Project Delivery & Governance - Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to achieve successful outcomes. - Maintain and report on project governance tools (RAID logs, status reports, financial tracking). - Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies. - Chair and facilitate regular project governance meetings. - Financial & Commercial Management - Track project budgets and forecast costs to ensure financial control. - Approve and monitor time recordings and resource utilisation. - Support commercial discussions where required (e.g. change control, scope clarification). - Stakeholder & Customer Management - Act as the key point of contact for customers throughout project delivery. - Provide clear, structured, and timely communication to both internal and external stakeholders. - Delivery Support & Collaboration - Work collaboratively with technical delivery teams and support functions. - Support senior project managers on larger or more complex programmes. - Ensure effective handover to Managed Services where applicable. - Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives. - Pre-Sales Support - Assist Sales and Pre-Sales teams by providing input into project planning, timelines, and delivery approach. Qualifications - Experience delivering projects in the technology sector, ideally in modern cloud infrastructure. - Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills. - Proactive problem solver. - Clear understanding of project governance frameworks i.e. RAID, HLRs etc. - Strong budget and scope management skills.
