Strategic Account Executive
Ping Identity
• Create, implement, measure and review a personal plan that drives achievement of performance goals aligned to the regional sales strategy. • Position and articulate our value proposition to customers to maximise the business opportunity. • Negotiate and close complex contracts with the support of global partners. • Report on sales activity and forecasts to senior management. • Prepare indicative subscription pricing and customer offers, including reviewing broader opportunities such as training and professional services modules, and guiding requests for proposal responses. • Provides customer feedback to marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams. • Work collaboratively to acquire additional/specialist resources as needed.
Job Requirements
- Multiple years of field quota-carrying experience selling enterprise software solutions.
- Results-oriented with multiple years meeting or exceeding quota within the market.
- Sustainable record of signing strategic and large projects, with long and complex sales cycles.
- Established sector-related C level contacts.
- Successful record dealing with strategic buyers.
- Deep knowledge of the relevant key drivers of change in the industry.
- Background working with regional/national/global partners and system integrators.
- Prior training and experience in value selling and account planning methodologies.

• Identify and systematically prospect large enterprise accounts across industries. • Build outbound sequences, leverage your network, attend relevant industry events, and develop partner and channel relationships to generate qualified pipeline. • Run sharp discovery to assess decision-maker access, technical fit, budget cycle, and strategic urgency before committing deep cycle resources. • Maintain a pipeline that is 3–4x your quarterly target at all times. • Own the full sales process from first meeting through signed contract on deals you originate. • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise environments, CX leadership, IT, procurement, and C-suite, simultaneously. • Build compelling business cases anchored to cost reduction, call deflection rates, CSAT improvement, and revenue capture. • Manage RFP processes, security reviews, and legal cycles without losing deal momentum. • Hit and exceed quarterly TCV targets. • Retain commercial ownership of strategic accounts post-close to drive expansion and renewal. • Act as the voice of the enterprise customer back into product and leadership.
