Account Executive – Field Based
Global Payments Inc.
• Responsible for prospecting and running Genius Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone • Close sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area • Work closely with local District Manager to set appointments • Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions • Explain value proposition and demonstrate cloud based Point of Sale solution • Upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services • Maintain regular communication with Point of Sale District Manager • Training period includes initial appointments with District Manager
Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- This position requires regular short distance travel to visit client sites
- Live in area relative to job posting location
- Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
- High school diploma/GED
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
- High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
- Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus
