The Away from Home Marketing Activation Manager is responsible for developing, directing, and optimizing integrated marketing activation strategies across all Away from Home channels. This role drives the vision and execution of strategies that deliver measurable business growth, leads cross-functional teams, and serves as a key strategic partner to senior leadership. The Manager oversees agency partnerships and is accountable for the performance and ROI of all Away from Home marketing activations. This role reports to the Director, Away from Home Marketing. Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Activation Leadership: - Lead the annual activation planning process, including budget management, resource allocation, and go-to-market prioritization. - Identify AFH channel opportunities and innovative activation approaches to drive competitive advantage. - Establish KPIs, measurement frameworks, and reporting cadences to evaluate activation effectiveness. - Present activation strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Marketing Activation Planning: - Define the strategic direction for marketing activations, ensuring they ladder to broader brand and business goals. - Oversee the development and execution of activation plans for Commercial, Non-Commercial & Distributor channels. - Analyze performance data to identify trends, optimize investment, and drive continuous improvement across campaigns. CRM & Digital Strategy: - Lead the strategic development of Away from Home CRM and digital marketing programs, including email, customer journeys, web, mobile, and loyalty platforms. - Drive audience segmentation strategy and personalization initiatives to maximize engagement and conversion. - Partner with analytics and data teams to leverage insights for campaign optimization and customer lifecycle management. - Evaluate and recommend new digital tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness. Sales & Marketing Enablement - Direct the creation of high-impact sales collateral, presentations, and enablement tools that support commercial objectives. - Ensure all materials are strategically aligned with campaign narratives, brand positioning, and channel-specific needs. - Oversee photography, video, and creative asset production, managing vendor relationships and ensuring quality standards. Agency & Partner Management: - Lead agency relationships across advertising, activation, promotion, and creative partners, serving as the primary strategic point of contact. - Develop comprehensive creative briefs that articulate strategic objectives, audience insights, and success metrics. - Manage agency performance, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring accountability and alignment with business goals. - Negotiate contracts and evaluate agency capabilities to ensure best-in-class partnership. Social & Content Strategy: - Define the content strategy for foodservice and owned social channels, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative. - Oversee creative development and editorial planning, driving consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity. - Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform content innovation and audience engagement tactics. Trade Show & Event Strategy: - Develop the strategic vision for trade show and industry event participation, including objectives, investment, and success criteria. - Oversee end-to-end event planning and execution, including booth design, staffing strategy, and on-site brand experience. - Evaluate event ROI and lead post-event analysis to inform future participation and investment decisions. - Build and maintain relationships with key industry organizations and event partners. Promotional Merchandise & Brand Assets: - Set the strategic direction for promotional merchandise programs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives. - Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and distribution logistics. - Ensure all branded materials reinforce brand equity and deliver value across events, campaigns, and internal initiatives. Job specific requirements: - 8 -10 years of progressive experience in marketing activation, brand marketing, or integrated marketing, preferably with Away from Home channels. - Demonstrated experience managing agency relationships and multi-channel marketing programs. - Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that deliver measurable business results. - Experience managing budgets and driving ROI accountability. - Strong proficiency in loyalty marketing, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools. - Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and marketing technology platforms. Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $122,000 to $167,750; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
