Role Description PayNearMe is seeking a high-performing, hunter-oriented Account Executive with a strong background in payment solutions, particularly electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) and recurring payment technologies. This role is responsible for driving net-new business within banks and credit unions by delivering modern, customer-centric payment experiences. This is a true new business role requiring a proactive seller who can independently generate pipeline, develop relationships, and close opportunities. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in bill pay, recurring payments, and digital payment adoption, with a proven ability to succeed in a high-activity, transaction-oriented sales environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume, transactional sales environment and is ready to make an impact with a growing team. - Drive new business by targeting banks, credit unions, and financial institutions less than $30B in assets. - Conduct high-volume sales outreach (discovery, demos, contract negotiation, close), with the goal of closing 3–4 deals per quarter. - Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value of PayNearMe’s payment solutions, with an emphasis on bill pay functionality. - Collaborate closely with the payments team, including credit union SMEs and technical experts, to deliver tailored solutions. - Stay current on trends in EBPP, ACH, debit card payments, and evolving customer expectations around recurring payment experiences. - Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Client Services to support new customer onboarding and optimize product-market fit. - Log activities, maintain pipeline hygiene, and provide accurate forecasts using CRM systems.
