Job Description

Senior Sales Manager, Commercial (East Coast Territory)

Eve

About Eve Eve is redefining legal technology for plaintiff law firms, and we're building the team that will take us there. We help firms handle more cases, recover more for clients, and grow with AI that works across every stage of a case, from intake through resolution. The next generation of great plaintiff firms will be AI-Native, and Eve is how they get there. But what makes Eve different isn't just the product. It's how we build it. If you're someone who takes ownership, stays curious, and wants to build AI that's already changing how law is practiced, this is where you belong. Product-market fit: Eve is trusted by over 1000+ law firms, and we’re growing fast. Backed by top investors: We’ve raised over $160M from world-class partners including Spark Capital, Andreessen Horowitz(A16z), Menlo Ventures, and Lightspeed. Built by a world-class team: Engineers, designers, and operators from places like Scale, Meta, Airbnb, Cruise, Square, Rubrik, and Lyft are building Eve from the ground up. AI-Native from day one: We’re on the bleeding edge of AI, collaborating directly with teams at OpenAI and Anthropic to build best-in-class AI workflows tailored for legal work. Explosive growth: We are growing 2X revenue Quarter over Quarter. The RoleCommercial is where Eve's biggest plaintiff PI deals get won. Our largest segment by addressable market value, firms running real operations with real budgets and real stakes per deal. We're hiring a Senior Sales Manager to run our East Coast team and own that book. This is a pure manager seat, not player-coach. Your job is to make your AEs great, not close their deals for them. You'll get in the room on the deals where your presence changes the outcome and stay out of the rest. The reps you hire should be the kind who could be running their own team here in two years. What You'll Do - Run weekly 1:1s and weekly deal reviews with each AE on your team - Forecast accurately every week with numbers that hold up upstream - Coach the call, the email, the negotiation, the close - Get in the room on the deals where your presence changes the outcome, and stay out of the rest - Build and protect your team's prospecting muscle by working alongside the rep, not from a dashboard - Hire continuously and hold a real bar on every hire - Make the call early when a rep isn't going to make it, with real coaching first, a real plan second, and a clean exit if it comes to that - Partner with enablement, marketing, product, and revops to remove what's actually slowing your team down - Know the buyer's business and the product cold, and be able to teach both What We're Looking For - Carried a bag at this level, hit the number, and remember what it actually takes - Two to three years managing AEs in a high-growth environment, ideally through both a real ramp and a real downturn - Real opinions about how to coach a deal, how to read a forecast, and how to spot a rep who's hiding - Real fluency with AI tools in your own work, not just in concept - Legal tech is a plus, not a requirement. The right manager will get fluent on the plaintiff PI buyer fast - Remote, ideally based on the East Coast - Up to 50% travel for events, conferences, and territory visits with your reps Why This Role at EveYou'd be running the team that owns the highest-value piece of Eve's market at the moment that piece is just becoming AI-ready. The leadership team has built and scaled sales orgs before. The product is doing real things for customers, not promising them. The comp plan is honest. At Eve's growth rate, the next layer of leadership is being built from the inside, and the org chart for the next two years is being drawn right now. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Eve and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, interview performance, and the scope and level of the role and candidate. US Base Salary Range $300,000—$330,000 USD Benefits 💰 Competitive Salary & Equity 💹 401(k) Program with Employer Matching ⚕️ Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance 🩼 Short Term and Long Term Disability 🚗 Commuter Benefits* 🧑‍💻 Autonomous Work Environment 🖥️ Workplace Setup Reimbursement 🏠 Telecomm Stipend 🏝 Flexible Time Off (FTO) + Holidays 🚀 Quarterly Team Gatherings 🥪 In office Perks* *In office employees only Eve Legal is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable local laws, regulations and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation during the application process, reach out to your recruiter. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
