Role Description The Retouching Artist supports QVC and HSN, and is responsible for QVC & HSN's vendor-provided image and product detail image workflows. You will become an expert regarding both brands' image specs for vendor-provided content and how to process, load, and archive these assets. Additionally, you will assist the team with treating product detail images, daily administrative tasks, and other creative responsibilities. We are only able to consider you for this remote role if you live in PA, NJ, or DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. You will be on-call (part-time) and you will typically work 2-3 days per week, based on business need. The hours will fall between 8am and 7pm, and we are able to offer some flexibility. What You'll Do: - Collaborate with your fellow Retouching Artist team and management to ensure content meets QVC & HSN brand standards for qualities such as aesthetic, lighting, contrast, color balance, model retouching, and accuracy. - Assess images for any additional retouching needs and act on your findings. - Partner with your team to determine the best course forward when situations arise that are outside of the predefined standards for QVC or HSN vendor images. - Assist the Retouching Artist 2 team with administrative responsibilities and file organization to ensure the daily success of the team. - Work with medium and high volumes of images to support the business in creating engaging content. - Work under tight deadlines to deliver customer-ready content to all platforms ahead of launches. Qualifications - 1+ year of professional experience and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Bridge. - Experience with image processing concepts such as cropping, aspect ratio, pixel dimensions, DPI, and color space. - An eye for retouching concepts such as color correction and dust removal to produce finalized images. - Proficiency in Photoshop tools including color and contrast adjustments, clone stamp, spot healing brush, and crop tool.
