IT Systems Administrator
Transfr Inc.
• Propose and implement solutions for long-term IT project work (e.g. software transitions, implementation of new IT software and processes, etc.) • Review hardware fixes and coordinate hardware and software purchases. • Identify best-in-class machines for targeted price point and functionality. • Manage all new hire credentialing for new employees. • Set up and manage internal support and service including system ownership. • Lead configuration and management of IT software for a distributed workforce (MDM, RMM, antivirus, VPN, etc.) • Test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether the product will aid users in performing work. • Create user-training manuals and procedures to help increase the efficiency of the employee onboarding and off boarding processes. • Train employees on software and hardware. • Provide IT help desk support for Transfr staff.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or a similar role and with a minimum of 2+ years of managing projects independently
- Experience supporting both Mac and Windows devices.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite).
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Experience with MDM, RMM, endpoint security, VPN, and device management tools.
- Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
