Role Description The Course Conversion Specialist is responsible for providing courseware conversion support. - Provide courseware conversion support, as required. - Convert existing online training learning asset files from one authoring tool (Composica) to another (Lectora) in order to sustain the Warfighting Acquisition University online training portfolio. - Identify and report deficiencies to the team lead in converted online training learning assets for future maintenance efforts, as required. - Conduct data gathering and reporting to monitor and communicate progress, timeliness, and efficacy of the conversion process. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree required. - Experience may be used in lieu of education requirements. - Must have 3+ years of experience with: - Conducting courseware conversions. - Composica. - Lectora. - Must be a US citizen. - Background check required. - Successfully pass background and drug screening. Requirements - Experience with Section 508 accessibility standards with regard to online training (preferred). - Experience conducting quality assurance using customer-established requirements (preferred). - Ability to meet minimum security clearance requirements. - Ability to follow prescribed processes to complete learning asset conversion and document processes and outcomes for each learning asset. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that include the ability to interact with a wide variety of key stakeholders to ensure timely responses for all communications and deliverables across all projects. - Strong understanding of adult learning theory. - Superb planning, coordination, and organizational skills. - Results-driven with a positive attitude and a high degree of initiative and responsiveness. - Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and attend to details while staying focused on key priorities and management. - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. - Ability to travel up to 10%. The Data Conversion Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful migration of data from legacy systems to the new Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) and facilitating accurate and efficient data transformation processes. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including project teams and subject matter experts, to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance throughout the conversion process. - Conduct comprehensive assessments of legacy data structures to identify data elements for migration. - Develop and document data mapping specifications to ensure accurate data transformation. - Implement data cleansing processes to prepare data for migration, ensuring accuracy and consistency. - Execute data migration processes, monitoring for errors or discrepancies and addressing issues as needed. - Perform validation checks on migrated data to ensure compliance with quality standards. - Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate data migration progress. - Prepare reports summarizing data conversion outcomes, including any challenges encountered and resolutions implemented. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance data conversion processes. - Effectively communicate with the client and other project stakeholders. - Demonstrate an understanding of business and technical requirements gathering and support functional workflow, business process, and information flow discussions.
