Senior Manager, Capital & Liquidity Management
Wealthsimple
• Own capital and liquidity management across Wealthsimple's material legal entities — including board/management reporting, planning, forecasting, allocation, and optimization • Drive capital allocation strategy, including return and cost of capital analysis, asset risk assessment, stress testing, and funding strategy to support growth and scalability • Maintain and monitor internal and external capital requirement ratios, keeping positions within our risk appetite; lead periodic reviews and recalibrations of the capital risk limits framework • Enhance and maintain Wealthsimple's balance sheet & funding strategy, capital & liquidity policies and risk management framework • Act as a subject matter expert on Treasury modelling, stress testing, and scenario design — and provide thought leadership on how AI can strengthen these capabilities across the function • Work closely with FP&A, product leaders, regulatory reporting teams, legal, and compliance as a trusted advisor on capital and liquidity decisions • Support the Director in leading and developing the Treasury team as it scales
Job Requirements
- 9+ years of capital and liquidity management and balance sheet experience at a financial institution or fintech (ideally a broker-dealer)
- Deep knowledge of capital structure, asset liability management, asset risk assessments, and balance sheet optimization
- Strong understanding of regulatory capital requirements for a broker-dealer, and general capital ratio concepts
- Prior experience in capital and liquidity planning and forecasting, capital budgeting and allocation, and stress testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superior attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex Treasury concepts clearly to non-Treasury audiences

Role Description We are looking for a Regional Manager - Prenatal for Northern Los Angeles (San Bernardino, Bakersfield, Santa Monica, Thousand Oaks, Northern Orange County) with 4+ years of direct sales management experience out of Women’s Health, Prenatal Diagnostics, or Reproductive Health. You will build, develop, and lead a high impact team of sales reps who will bring the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen to OBGYN clinics, MFMs, and private OBGYN practices throughout the Northern Los Angeles area. You will deliver clinical information to both external clients and internal teams. You will have significant influence over how the test is communicated to physicians and patients, and contribute to how the test evolves to better serve market needs. The Regional Manager - Prenatal is a remote position and reports to the Area Director. - Develop a comprehensive, data-driven sales strategy and business plan to build and grow market development throughout the Northern Los Angeles region. - Build and lead a team of talented, high performing sales reps in the execution of sales strategies and optimization of opportunities to increase profitability and market share. - Recruit, Hire, Train, Manage, and Develop representatives. - Develop and enhance customized pitches to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal Genetic Counselors. - Use data to analyze sales results, identify industry trends, and stay abreast of competition to increase sales volume and drive success within territory.
