Role Description Seeking a Project Controls Specialist to be a part of the project controls team who has a comprehensive understanding of Project Controls principles, theories, concepts, current industry practices and standards. You can live anywhere within the U.S. to support our team successfully, ideally in the Central or Eastern Region of the U.S. - Responsible for all cost elements of the project, including scope changes, inputting or updating budget information, expenditure information, and forecasts into the cost reporting system(s). - Prepare and analyze revenue and cost, including recommending corrective actions to the project manager. - Set up, monitor, and forecast all elements on the project for both cost and schedule. - Collaborate within the team to develop and build project schedules using Interactive Planning sessions. - Status the schedule activities, perform critical path analysis, integrate change notices with known impacts, and provide recommendations to the project team. - Resource load the schedule to determine peak staffing needs within Engineering and Construction. - This position reports administratively to the Project Controls Manager and functionally to the assigned Project Manager. - A working relationship will exist with clients, vendors, members of the project team, and other AFRY business units.
