Senior Director, Payor Solutions
Labcorp
• Develop and maintain relationships with target and key health plans in the Southeast Region • Collaborate with Southeast Region leadership team and sales to develop/implement growth strategies • Responsible for the development, negotiation and maintenance of financially sound contracting arrangements that deliver value for health plans and Labcorp • Oversee analysis of billing trend data and/or market information to derive conclusions which support negotiation strategy and address assure appropriate reimbursement • Assure that all contracts are in compliance with departmental operational, quality and legal requirements • Develop and execute on strategies to implement collaborative, value added programs with health plans • Keep up-to-date with industry shifts and trends while informing and broadening key stakeholders' market knowledge as to how to best meet growth objectives • Mentor staff with a clear set of goals and objectives that are results oriented • Responsible for hiring, developing, training, and retaining high-quality, productive employees
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree required with 5+ years of experience
- Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid products/reimbursement methodologies
- Experience working for either a health care provider managing health plan relationships or health plan in a role where responsibilities include network management
- MBA or MS in Healthcare preferred
- Ancillary contracting/laboratory contracting experience preferred
- Understanding of Value Based Contracting strategies is preferred
- Prefer candidate will ideally be located within or nearby the Southeast Region
