Senior Platform Engineer

Safeguard Global

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure • Build and maintain secure cloud platforms with governance and standardization • Architect and support microservices, serverless, and event-driven systems • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated DevSecOps practices • Embed security controls including IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation • Improve system resiliency through high availability, backups, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance strategies • Build and manage ETL pipelines and data workflows in cloud environments • Apply SRE principles including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and capacity planning • Automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages • Support AI/ML workloads by enabling scalable infrastructure, inference, and security. • Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines for model versioning, automated training, testing, and deployment • Integrate model monitoring, performance tracking, and drift detection in production environments • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document platform architecture and processes

Job Requirements

  • Strong expertise designing and engineering solutions on AWS cloud platforms
  • Proven experience building modern CI/CD pipelines and embedding DevSecOps best practices into delivery workflows
  • Deep understanding of microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures at scale
  • Experience creating and managing robust ETL and cloud-based data pipelines
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code capabilities using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
  • Excellent scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or related languages
  • Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting experience in production environments
  • Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, VPCs, load balancers, and firewalls
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • A passion for building resilient, secure, and highly available cloud environments
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills
