MetroSys, Inc.
• Support pre-sales and assessment activities for enterprise clients • Serve as a trusted technical resource during customer discovery, infrastructure assessments, and solution development engagements • Conduct technical discovery sessions and infrastructure assessments for enterprise data center environments • Evaluate current-state compute, network, virtualization, and storage architectures • Perform Cisco-focused assessments across: Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Cisco MDS, Cisco Intersight • Identify technical risks, lifecycle concerns, performance bottlenecks, and modernization opportunities • Develop assessment findings, recommendations, and executive-level reports • Support solution architects and sales teams during customer engagements • Participate in customer workshops, design reviews, and strategy sessions • Assist with scoping projects, developing statements of work (SOWs), and estimating implementation efforts • Provide guidance on data center modernization, compute refresh initiatives, virtualization platforms, hybrid cloud connectivity, and network and storage integration • Deliver architecture recommendations and migration strategies aligned with client business objectives • Serve as a subject matter expert during technical presentations and customer discussions
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of enterprise data center engineering or consulting
- Deep hands-on expertise with: Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI
- Strong understanding of VMware environments
- Data center networking
- Compute and storage infrastructure
- Disaster recovery and high availability design
- Experience performing infrastructure assessments and technical discovery workshops
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Experience supporting pre-sales and solution development activities
- Ability to travel throughout the Eastern United States as required

Primary Responsibilities: - Work with multiple business unit executives to determine correct solution, resources needed and contractual terms for deals - Leading financial response to RFPs to ensure minimal risk and maximum benefit for Optum - Analyze complex deals, develop pricing recommendations, and drive critical approval process with finance executives to meet tight deadlines - Understand business goals and objectives to help advise executives on appropriate solution - Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitors, and industry changes to help drive solution strategy - Understand cost structure across multiple business units in order to incorporate into a single Optum view - Utilize cost structure knowledge to create and maintain complex financial models and communicate results to executives - Lead ad-hoc projects as needed You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
