Job Description

Senior Business Analyst

Cinqcare

Role Description The Senior Business Analyst is a cross-functional role at the heart of our operations team. This person doesn't just support the work — they own it. They bring structure to ambiguity, clarity to complexity, and leadership presence to every room they walk into. You'll work alongside three directors as they expand into new domains, serving as the operational anchor for cross-functional initiatives and vendor relationships. You'll translate clinical, technical, and business needs into clear recommendations — and you'll present those recommendations with confidence to leadership. Key Responsibilities - Cross-functional operations & solutioning - Lead operational problem-solving across clinical, engagement, and business teams — from issue identification through to recommendation and resolution. - Own the development of solution frameworks and present options with clear tradeoffs to senior leadership. - Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders — making complexity actionable. - Drive initiatives that require coordination across multiple systems, teams, and timelines. - Vendor & system ownership - Own day-to-day vendor relationship management and issue resolution under the Director of Operations. - Develop and maintain fluency across our system landscape — EMR, billing platforms, texting solutions, call center, and data warehouse environments. - Build and own vendor documentation, escalation paths, and process standards. - Lead vendor conversations with confidence, escalating to the Director only when truly required. - Operational leadership & continuity - Own key operational workstreams as the director team transitions into expanded domains. - Establish and maintain operational processes that reduce reliance on tribal knowledge and improve team-wide resilience. - Proactively manage workstreams end-to-end — surfacing blockers, driving decisions, and closing loops. - Model the standard for accuracy, follow-through, and cross-functional accountability. Qualifications - 5–8 years of experience in healthcare consulting, health system operations, or a closely related field — you've been in the room and know how decisions get made. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional work — not just coordinate it — across clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders. - Deep fluency with multi-system healthcare environments: EMR platforms, billing ecosystems, vendor management, and data infrastructure. - Executive presence in communication — you can present complex options clearly, handle pushback gracefully, and earn trust quickly. - Structured leadership under ambiguity — you know how to frame a problem, rally the right people, and drive to a recommendation without needing perfect information. - Healthcare consulting background strongly preferred — you understand health system dynamics, payor complexity, and operational risk. - Demonstrated ability to build relationships across diverse teams — clinical, technical, financial, and operational stakeholders alike. Requirements - Work is performed indoors in a setting with conditioned air and artificial light. - Travel to and work in offices or other environments is required. - Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. - Sitting for extended periods is common. - Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. - Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. - Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. - Good reasoning ability is important. - Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business. Benefits - Medical Plans: Two comprehensive options offered to Team members. - 401K: 4% employer match for your future. - Dental & Vision: Flexible plans with in-network savings. - Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, holidays, and wellness time. - Extras: Pet insurance, commuter benefits, mileage reimbursement, CME for providers, and company-provided phones for field staff.
