Journeyman-NOC Administrator

• Monitor network infrastructure in real time to ensure availability, performance, and operational stability. • Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot network issues, outages, alerts, and performance degradations. • Use network management and monitoring tools to detect problems, assess impact, and support timely resolution. • Escalate incidents to appropriate engineering, infrastructure, security, or vendor support teams when required. • Perform routine network maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures. • Support the implementation of approved network changes, ensuring changes are completed accurately and documented properly. • Document incidents, changes, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and follow-up actions clearly and accurately. • Maintain comprehensive operational records to support reporting, trend analysis, and issue tracking. • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding network events, status, and resolution progress. • Collaborate with IT staff and other operational teams to improve network performance, availability, and resilience. • Support the development and implementation of strategies for network improvement and risk mitigation. • Follow established operational procedures, escalation paths, and change management practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Training or practical experience in network operations, network monitoring, and network troubleshooting.
- Fundamental understanding of network management tools and technologies, such as Cisco, Juniper, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
- Ability to monitor network environments, interpret alerts, troubleshoot issues, and support timely incident response.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to accurately document incidents, changes, troubleshooting actions, and resolutions.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant network certifications are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices is preferred.
- Prior experience working in a NOC or similar operational environment is preferred.
- Requires an Interim DoD Secret or comparable clearance

• Oversee assigned TPA relationships and ensure consistent execution of oversight and control measures • Lead and develop a team of Workers’ Compensation TPA Liaisons, establishing priorities to ensure tasks and performance goals are met • Authorize reserve/settlement requests within authority and prepare requests that exceed authority for internal senior leadership roundtable • Provide technical expertise and oversight through regular file reviews, audits, and authority approvals to ensure TPAs follow best practices and internal standard • Oversee team resolving TPA data feed errors to ensure accurate financial reporting • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, TPAs, vendors, brokers, policyholders, and legal partners • Participate in internal and external meetings, including weekly TPA client meetings and quarterly claim reviews • Serve as an escalation point for issues impacting the customer experience and communicate expectations, procedures, and protocols to TPAs • Evaluate TPA performance through audits; drive remediation plans when performance does not meet key performance metrics and service-level agreements • Report account changes or vendor concerns to ensure service level agreements are met • Performs additional projects and duties as assigned
