Role Description In this position, you will process insurance policies and endorsements. Strong computer skills and prior customer service skills are required. - Processes renewal policies, including policies downloaded from the carrier, checking for accuracy and updating Agency Management System. - Processes endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc., including checking for accuracy, billing, and preparing correspondence to insured and/or carrier as needed. - Creates emails to notify Account Managers/CSA’s to follow up on reported policy and account discrepancies; emails include all relevant documentation. - Processes all mail in a timely manner, ensuring that appropriate activities are closed. - Pulls renewal policies for Account Managers and places them in the monthly renewal folder. - Attends team meetings and continuing educational classes if necessary. - Sets priorities, organizes, and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities. - Maintains a professional and effective relationship with co-workers and other business contacts. - Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, and continuously improves knowledge and performance. - Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals. - Utilizes AI programs for efficiencies. - Fulfills other duties as assigned. Qualifications - High School diploma or general education degree (GED). - Must be able to communicate information and respond to questions (both verbally and in written form) effectively with clients, company personnel, and others. - Possesses the ability to perform work in a dependable, consistent, and timely manner. - Demonstrates the ability to follow instructions, respond to management/lead direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance. - Basic knowledge of Insurance product – Leavitt will provide a training course if needed. Have P&C License or obtain within 1 year of hire. - Ability to analyze all situations and solve problems efficiently. Requirements - High pressured, fast paced environment with significant telephone and personal disruption. - Must have an ergonomic desk and chair. Desk large enough for two large monitors and laptop (provided by Leavitt). - Quiet space – able to have conversations with clients, carriers, co-workers without background noise (children/animals). - Must have high-speed internet connection – 50MB Up and Down or Higher. (Your internet provider will understand these numbers). - Direct internet connection (not Wi-Fi) in your workspace.
