Lead Engineer
Solera, Inc.
• Build reliable systems that integrate large language models into our products • Leverage AI tools like Copilot and automation platforms to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency • Define standards for AI-assisted development across the team • Lead architectural analysis and reverse-engineering of legacy .NET applications to guide modernization • Develop and maintain web applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core/Framework) • Collaborate with cross functional teams and other stakeholders • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with hands-on technical lead experience
- Active engagement with AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Hands-on experience building AI agents with Large Language Models (LLMs), including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET 8+, Web API, Entity Framework Core
- Expertise in React.js, TypeScript, Redux, Next.js (a plus)
- Experience with SQL Server, MS-SQL Server or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps
