• Own the end-to-end architecture of the eBPF-based routing simulation layer, including XDP and TC hook point design, BPF map structure, and synthetic ICMP TTL-exceeded generation that makes traceroute and MTR behave correctly against the simulated topology • Design and build the control-plane topology database and the pipeline that compiles real-world internet topology data into a form that in-range agents can consume and apply • Architect the in-range proxy agent: the lightweight component that bridges the persistent control plane to individual cyber ranges, applying topology configuration locally and handling DNS delegation and traffic forwarding • Define the interface contract between the control plane and in-range agents, including topology update propagation, graceful degradation when control plane connectivity is interrupted, and agent lifecycle management • Serve as technical lead for the team — making daily architectural decisions across the full service scope, conducting design reviews, and maintaining engineering quality across all four engineering roles on the team • Partner with other Engineers on novel simulation challenges, bring independent judgment to architectural tradeoffs, and shape the technical roadmap • Mentor engineers on the team, raising the bar on systems design, kernel-level debugging, and engineering rigor • Collaborate with adjacent platform teams on the operational model for a long-lived, multi-tenant service serving active cyber range deployments

• Serve as the senior-most technical voice for SimSpace's core frontend, owning architecture decisions and the technical roadmap for shared UI systems. • Lead major frontend initiatives end to end—from requirements gathering and architecture design through delivery—setting clear goals, priorities, and technical direction. • Steward architectural decisions and manage technical and UX debt deliberately, balancing long-term health with delivery needs. • Define and enforce frontend technical standards for code health, performance, testing, and documentation. • Mentor Design Engineers and frontend engineers, modeling strong craft, collaboration, and pragmatism. • Design, build, extend, and maintain SimSpace's design system (e.g., Monorail) and higher-order component libraries, emphasizing consistency, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance. • Contribute directly and deeply to the code, ensuring shared systems stay aligned between design (Figma) and implementation (code, Storybook). • Review and curate contributions from other engineers to shared UI libraries, maintaining high standards for UX quality and code health. • Act as a technical partner to UX Designers—providing feasibility feedback, implementation guidance, and UI engineering insight early in the design process. • Lead accessibility (a11y) best practices at the component and system level. • Identify and address UX and UI quality issues—visual inconsistencies, interaction gaps, and usability bugs—across the product. • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards.

• Partner with META sales executives to identify customer needs, shape technical strategy, and articulate SimSpace’s value through tailored demonstrations, technical consultation, and outcome-based discovery. • Lead technical sales cycles across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region, including discovery, solution mapping, pilot planning, evaluation design, success criteria definition, and technical close support. • Lead technical sales cycles across Europe, including discovery, solution mapping, pilot planning, evaluation design, success criteria definition, and technical close support. • Translate SimSpace capabilities into regionally relevant customer outcomes across national cyber readiness, sovereign cyber range modernization, adversary emulation, detection engineering, AI security testing, security tool validation, OT/ICS security, and team training. • Build credibility with government, defense, energy, oil and gas, financial services, telecommunications, aviation, and critical infrastructure stakeholders by understanding their operating environments, security priorities, and procurement cultures. • Work directly with regional resellers, system integrators, MSSPs, consulting partners, and strategic channel partners to support joint opportunities, partner enablement, customer demonstrations, and go-to-market execution. • Design and deliver compelling technical demonstrations that show how SimSpace can replicate realistic enterprise, cloud, OT, IT, and hybrid environments for training, testing, validation, and operational readiness. • Support RFI/RFP responses by helping create persuasive technical narratives, solution architectures, capability mappings, and value-based responses tailored to META customer requirements. • Serve as a regional thought leader by supporting webinars, conferences, executive briefings, partner events, and customer-facing content focused on cyber ranges, AI-enabled security, adversary emulation, national cyber resilience, and cyber readiness. • Act as a feedback bridge between META customers, European customers, regional partners, SimSpace product teams, and professional services to ensure customer requirements and market needs are captured and communicated clearly. • Support renewals, expansions, and long-term customer success by helping customers understand additional use cases, broader platform value, and paths to operational maturity.

Drive advanced application packaging, templating, and configuration management strategies using Jsonnet and Grafana Tanka (alongside Kustomize). Move beyond maintaining pipelines to architecting multi-cluster, multi-environment deployment frameworks that drastically improve developer velocity. • Define, measure, and govern Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets across the engineering organization. Partner with product and engineering leadership to balance feature delivery with platform stability. • Architect our enterprise observability strategy using the Grafana stack. Design frameworks for proactive monitoring, complex anomaly detection, and distributed tracing that give teams unparalleled visibility into system health, pod scaling, and latency bottlenecks. • Drive the infrastructure security posture at an architectural level. Embed advanced container security, zero-trust network segmentation, and automated compliance policies directly into our deployment pipelines and runtime environments. • Serve as a strategic partner and consultant to development teams. Advocate for an 'SRE culture' by designing self-service tooling, establishing 'paved roads' for developers, and reducing operational toil across the entire engineering org. • Act as an Incident Commander during complex, high-severity outages. Drive blameless post-mortems and engineer long-term, systemic, and architectural fixes to ensure classes of failures never repeat. • Act as a technical mentor to senior and mid-level engineers. Raise the baseline of engineering excellence across the company by coaching, documenting best practices, and leading by example.
