Senior SAP Architect – Principal Solutions Architect
Lamb Weston
• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP initiatives across ECC and S/4HANA environments • Define and enforce SAP architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails • Ensure adherence to clean-core principles and minimize customizations • Design and govern integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems • Partner with Functional Consultants to validate functional designs and ensure architectural alignment • Review and approve solution designs, enhancements, and technical approaches delivered by internal teams and AMS partners • Assess architectural impacts of new initiatives and recommend scalable design options • Support platform roadmap discussions by identifying architectural risks, dependencies, and opportunities • Provide guidance on data, security, performance, and scalability considerations • Participate in design reviews, cutover planning, and major releases as needed • Identify and mitigate technical debt and long-term architectural risks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10–15 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on solution architecture
- Proven experience designing solutions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes
- Experience assessing architectural impacts, integration patterns, and design trade-offs for SAP add-on solutions within a broader SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscape
- Strong understanding of SAP integration patterns and middleware solutions
- Experience supporting global, multi-instance SAP environments
- Experience working with AMS or external SAP delivery partners
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
