Senior Software Quality Engineer

• Design and develop test automation frameworks for mobile SDKs and applications, Backend APIs and Web UI components • Write clean, maintainable test code and review both automation and product code to uphold best practices • Perform manual testing to ensure comprehensive coverage and product stability • Troubleshoot and reproduce complex issues across distributed systems and collaborate with third-party vendors on support and resolution • Communicate test strategies, plans, and quality metrics effectively to stakeholders • Operate in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to fast-paced product delivery
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
- 5-8 years of experience building automated test suites for distributed systems, public APIs, or HTTP/REST/JSON-based services in a CI environment
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Java
- 3+ years of experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, Selenium, Appium, JUnit/TestNG, and JSON
- Familiarity with the full SDLC and related tools, including version control, build systems, issue tracking, and requirements management

ROLE OVERVIEW: We are looking for a QA Engineer who will focus on automation testing, primarily using Playwright. The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of Pytest (Python), though this is not mandatory. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. - Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured automated test plans and test cases. - Estimate, prioritize, and plan test activities with a focus on automation. - Design, execute, and document automated tests using Playwright, while also being available to support manual testing when necessary. - Identify, record, and track defects, maintaining clear communication within the team. - Define and perform regression tests. - Stay current with new testing tools and strategies, continuously improving the testing process in the assigned project. - Effectively manage time to deliver results within established deadlines. REQUIREMENTS: - Fluency in both Polish and English. - Min. 3 years of experience in automation testing with Playwright. - Hands-on experience in writing clear and comprehensive test cases using test design techniques. - Familiarity with tools supporting test activities, including GitHub, X-ray, Confluence, and Jira. - Experience in software development within the Agile/Scrum process.
