Fusion Engineer – Acoustics & Image Processing
The Formula Consulting
• You develop a next-generation localization product featuring a learned map architecture. • You design and implement visual and acoustic sensor systems for drone detection. • You develop a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for the drone early-warning system. • You design, build, and maintain scalable models and deploy model inference directly onto drone detection devices. • You implement scalable intelligence with low-latency intelligence. • Together with ML, MLOps, and DevOps teams you enable fast and secure deployments. • You monitor systems, troubleshoot faults, and continuously improve observability.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT (e.g., engineering).
- At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a Fusion Engineer, ideally with a focus on acoustics.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the IoT domain.
- Fluent in Python and familiar with relevant frameworks.
- Good experience with the Embedded Linux ecosystem.
- Some initial cloud experience.
- You have worked for the same employer for at least 2 consecutive years.
- Fluent English; any additional spoken language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to field trials 2–3 days per quarter.
- Ideally experience with fleet data, Bash, Golang, C/C++, MLOps, and DevOps.
