Senior Solutions Engineer

• Become a product expert with Smartlinx solutions. • Serve as a bridge between product marketing, R&D and sales and acquire advanced technical knowledge of our solutions and their capabilities. • Articulate the unique value proposition to exec level audiences in a manner that is clear, quantifiable, and tangible. • Become an evangelist - understand and articulate our solutions roadmap, host webinars about our solutions and the problems we solve. • Take learnings from the field and feed them back to product development and the GTM organization to improve our solutions, processes and/or collateral. • Remain current with your knowledge of our solutions, ideal customers, and buyer personas, as well as the competition and market differentiation. • Win the trust of customers, prospects, and team members through technical, product expertise and business acumen. • Be collaborative and strive to share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other team members. • On occasion, guide strategic projects in top accounts such as customer journey sessions. • On occasion, support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows. • Assist teams in information gathering, analysis of business/user/functional requirements, including business processes, standard operating procedures, workflows, and other documents, which would assist in best understanding of upcoming business opportunities. • Deliver on-site and/or web-based presentations and communicate effectively at all levels within an organization. • Prepares high quality configured demo databases for product demonstrations. • Assist in responding to customer inquiries and requests for information (e.g., list of e-mailed questions, questions posed to sales at a meeting). • Assist in analyzing special requirements that may require development of new features, custom integration, or custom functionality. • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and services teams to create customized presentations, demos, and proof of value. • Engage with the product management team to provide customer feedback and overall product direction. • Keep up with industry trends and competitive landscape.
Job Requirements
- Proven success and 5+ years’ experience in software presales/solution consulting, product management or solutions engineering
- A deep understanding of APIs and integrations, especially within SaaS sales and enterprise solutions (ERP, HCM, etc.)
- Experience with HCM and/or Healthcare vertical is preferred.
- Prior knowledge of post-acute healthcare is a bonus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to tailor communication style to different levels within an organization including C-level.
- Excellent analytical, logical, writing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to advise and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Detail orientated, excellent follow-through abilities, professional.
- Self-starter who is reliable and able to execute special assignments and tasks and has the experience to work independently and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
