• Edit and produce short-form video content for social platforms • Develop visual concepts aligned with fern's and Simplicissimus' established aesthetic • Design and animate engaging 3D and 2D animations to support the edit • Add sound design to round off each video • Collaborate with scriptwriters and art directors to ensure visuals translate storytelling effectively • Adapt existing long-form visual assets for short-form formats where relevant • Iterate on work based on feedback and performance insights • Stay up to date with short-form visual trends and platform best practices

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience editing short-form video content for social platforms
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating engaging, story-driven visual content
  • Outstanding video editing skills with proficiency in Premiere Pro
  • Strong 2D motion design skills, with proficiency in After Effects and Illustrator
  • Extensive 3D animation skills, with proficiency in Blender
  • Solid understanding of sound design for short-form video
  • Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality output within tight timeframes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams
  • Familiarity with fern, Simplicissimus, or similar documentary-led channels
  • Fluent English required; German skills are preferred.

Role Description Leidos is seeking a Virtual Reality 3D Modeler to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with 3D Modeling and VR of Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) siting projects.
