Role’s Responsibilities - Research, identify, and monitor funding, partnership, and contract opportunities aligned with OnMed’s mission and growth strategy, including RFPs, RFIs, and grant solicitations - Lead the end-to-end proposal development process: intake, outline, content development, data integration, compliance review, and final submission - Write clear, compelling proposals and communications including narratives, executive summaries, statements of need, and impact content tailored to each opportunity’s requirements - Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, gap analysis, and first-draft generation without compromising compliance or quality - Gather and synthesize data, outcomes, and program information from internal stakeholders; manage timelines, review cycles, and submission deadlines across concurrent opportunities - Collaborate cross-functionally to collect supporting materials such as budgets, letters of support, and logic models - Build and maintain a content library of narratives, data sets, and reusable assets; track submission status, award outcomes, and post-award obligations - Monitor industry trends, funding landscapes, and policy developments relevant to healthcare access and digital health to inform strategy and positioning - Develop impact reports, case studies, and thought leadership content that communicate OnMed’s mission, outcomes, and community reach to external audiences - Maintain a consistent OnMed brand voice across all written deliverables, ensuring alignment with marketing guidelines and messaging frameworks - Perform other related role’s responsibilities as assigned Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Advanced proposal and communications writing skills with a track record of persuasive, high-quality submissions across multiple audience types - Strong data synthesis and research skills — ability to translate program data and community health statistics into compelling narratives - Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools to optimize research workflows, accelerate writing, and improve proposal quality - Excellent project management skills; able to manage multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to build relationships and extract key information from subject matter experts - Familiarity with healthcare terminology, clinical program models, and public health frameworks - Meticulous attention to detail with strict adherence to submission guidelines, formatting requirements, and eligibility criteria - Versatile writing range — able to move fluidly between long-form proposal narratives, executive summaries, impact stories, and short-form marketing content - Comfort working within a marketing function; understanding of brand voice, content strategy, and audience-focused communication a plus Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree required in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field - 3+ years of proposal, communications, or content writing experience required - Healthcare industry experience required — health tech, community health, digital health, or public health settings strongly preferred - Experience using AI-assisted writing and research tools in a professional context required - Experience in content writing, communications, or marketing — including impact reports, case studies, or brand storytelling — a plus Benefits OnMed provides a competitive salary and benefits package, including unlimited PTO and paid holidays.
