• Act as the ultimate authority for complex self-employed scenarios, navigating "grey areas" and providing definitive quotes where standard policy may be ambiguous. • Conduct thorough assessments of loan applications against specific 2nd-tier lender requirements to ensure eligibility and serviceability. • Execute the accurate and efficient lodgement of applications through the ApplyOnline (AOL) system. • Manage the application lifecycle from lodgement to settlement, providing regular status reporting to the Senior Credit Manager. • Support the firm’s active client refinancing program, working within pre-planned lending parameters and scheduled deadlines. • Ensure all documentation meets strict Australian regulatory and internal compliance standards. • Liaise directly with BDMs and senior credit assessors at 2nd-tier Australian lenders to overturn declines and negotiate conditions.
Job Requirements
- Australian Credit Experience: Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a credit-focused role, within an Australian mortgage brokerage or 2nd-tier lender policies.
- System Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on experience with the AOL (ApplyOnline) lodgement system.
- Operational Discipline: Strong ability to follow set schedules and maintain high output without sacrificing accuracy.
- Communication: Confident in reporting to senior leadership and managing lender follow-ups.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to look beyond the "box" to find viable lending pathways for high-net-worth borrowers.
- Specialist Lender Familiarity: Prior experience specifically with the credit portals and submission nuances of non-bank lenders like Bluestone, Resimac, or Pepper
