Role Description Are you enthusiastic about maintaining safe online communities and encouraging authentic connections? We are an expanding dating platform seeking a committed Site Support & Safety Specialist to become part of our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience. Rather than merely responding to support tickets, you will actively manage user emails, assist individuals throughout their dating journey on our app and website, and help ensure our platform stays safe, welcoming, and free from malicious users. A Day in the Life - Investigate & Protect: Adopt a detective’s mindset to detect suspicious behavior, examine user reports, and identify potential scammers or violations of community guidelines. - Engage & Manage Correspondence: Carefully read and empathetically respond to user emails concerning account access, upgrade requests, and other inquiries. Organize, prioritize, and monitor the general inbox, redirecting complex issues to appropriate team members. - Maintain Quality: Evaluate flagged profiles, images, and messages to ensure compliance with our community safety standards. - Administration & Reporting: Accurately enter data, keep trackers current, prepare documents using Google Workspace, and generate daily or weekly operational reports for management review. - Collaborate & Improve: Partner closely with the core team to support ad-hoc projects, coordinate communications, and proactively recommend simple improvements to streamline daily administrative processes. Qualifications - Proven Experience: 1-2 years working as an Administrative Assistant, non-voice chat support, data entry, Virtual Assistant, site support, Operations Support, or Admin Agent, ideally in a fast-paced, remote setting. - Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and vendors. - Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry, proofreading, and schedule management. - Organizational Skills: Outstanding ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain well-structured digital filing systems. - Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets) and willingness to learn new CRM or project management tools. - Adaptability: Capability to work remotely, multitask effectively, demonstrate initiative, and operate independently in managing responsibilities. - Cultural Fit: Alignment with and understanding of the company’s values and culture to ensure a great fit.
