What you will be doing: - Develop and modify substation physical drawings under the direction of engineers and senior designers, including: - Substation One Line and Three Line - Station General Arrangements & Sections - Grounding Plan & Details - Conduit Plan & Details - Control Cubicle Layout, Sections, Cable Tray, Lighting, and Grounding - Low-Voltage AC Panels - Cable List - Drawing List - Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials based on Design Criteria. - Interpret redlines, markups, and sketches from engineers and convert them into accurate design documents. - Maintain drawing files, standards, and documentation in accordance with company QA/QC procedure. - Apply client standards related to the work. - Ensure company’s Quality assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes are being followed on all design packages. - Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills, and performance. - Support revisions during project lifecycle, including IFC updates and as-built drawings. - Follow applicable codes and standards such as NEC, NESC, IEEE, and client-specific requirements.
