Aspirus Langlade Kidney Care in Antigo, WI is seeking a Social Worker MS to join our team! - Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, it assists patients and families in coping with problems resulting from severe or long-term illness, and with difficulties in recovery and rehabilitation. - Works with patients and families to obtain psychosocial history, assists patients in resolving environmental difficulties interfering with attainment of maximum benefits from medical care, and conducts routine discharge planning. - Directs patients to designated community agencies or resources, as necessary. - The Social Worker is responsible for providing high quality patient care, demonstrating competence in assessment, psych diagnosis, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment and discharge planning. - Additionally, he/she is expected to function well as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the unit community relations program. Reports directly to the Clinic Operations Manager. HOURS: Part Time or .6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period, 3 days per week - Two days on site, one remote day Experience/Qualifications - Master of Social Worker from a Council of Social Work Education, accredited school of social work; and current state licensure required. - Ability to deal with people in a variety of situations with compassion, tact, consideration and confidentiality. Exhibits sound judgment and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to set priorities under pressure. Advanced assessment and treatment skills; including individual, couple and family therapy. Possesses refined collaborative skills. Possesses the ability to develop educational materials. Excellent computer skills. - Must enjoy working with people and routine record keeping. Must be able to handle confrontational and stressful situations with tact, compassion, confidence, confidentiality, and professionalism. Sensitivity to racial and cultural diversity.
