Job Description

Digital Media Buyer

National Marketing

Role Description The Digital Media Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and programmatic digital channels (Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent). This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring a candidate who is both analytically driven and creatively aware. The ideal candidate can interpret performance data and translate it into decisive action, while also evaluating creative assets to understand what is and is not driving results. Key Responsibilities: - Launch new campaigns, ad sets, and ad variants across our brands on a daily cadence. - Run structured creative tests (hook, angle, format, audience) and document what wins. - Monitor pacing, CPA, ROAS, frequency, and funnel-stage performance throughout the day and reallocate budget without waiting to be asked. - Partner with the Marketing Director and creative team to brief new ads, flag creative fatigue, and request iterations before performance slips. - Maintain naming conventions, tracking parameters, and account hygiene so reporting stays trustworthy. - Maintain dashboards (Looker Studio, Sheets, internal reporting tools) that show what is working and why. - Surface insights weekly: what scaled, what got cut, what we are testing next, and what the numbers are telling us about audience and messaging. Qualifications - 1+ years buying paid media at scale, ideally for direct-response, subscription, or lead-gen businesses; Preferred 3+ years. - Experience accounts spending at least $10-20k consistently per month. - Deep hands-on experience in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, YouTube). - Awareness of at least one native platform (Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent, MGID). - Strong analytical foundation: you can pivot a dataset in Sheets, read a cohort report, and explain what changed without hand-waving. - Design literacy: you can tell good creative from bad, write a clear creative brief, and give specific feedback to designers and copywriters. - Working knowledge of pixel implementation, UTM hygiene, conversion APIs, and attribution gotchas. - Self-directed work style. You do not need a Slack ping to know that CPA spiked at 2pm. - Must be able to pass a background check. Requirements - Experience in financial publishing, trading education, newsletters, info products, or other regulated direct-response categories. - Familiarity with HubSpot, Klaviyo, or comparable marketing automation. - Exposure to landing page testing (Unbounce, Instapage) and basic CRO instincts. - Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for creative ideation and rapid iteration. - Prior experience with compliance-sensitive copy in finance, supplements, or similar verticals. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Campaign performance and scaling. - Velocity: number of new ads, angles, and tests shipped per week. - Win rate on creative tests and how quickly losers are killed. - Quality and clarity of weekly reporting and recommendations. - Account health: tracking accuracy, naming hygiene, no policy violations. Benefits - Medical Coverage with two plans: 1) Co-Pay 2) HSA – employer-contributed premiums. - Dental Coverage. - Vision Coverage. - Basic Life – employer paid premiums. - Supplemental Life - with a non-medical maximum of $100,000 for new hires. - Short-Term Disability - employer paid premiums. - Long-Term Disability - employer paid premiums. - Employee Assistance Program - employer paid premiums. - AFLAC. - Paid Time Off – This position qualifies for unlimited PTO. - Parental Leave. - Holidays - 10 paid Holidays per year, with potential for additional days added depending on timing and operational demands. - Other Leave - Paradigm also offers other leave such as medical, both FMLA and Non-FMLA, Military, bereavement, jury duty, court appearance, and voting leave. - 401k Retirement Plan - Employees must be 21 years of age to participate and must complete 12 months of Full-Time employment. Once eligible, the company matches 100% of what you contribute for the first 3% of your salary and then $0.50 for every dollar for the next 2%. - Tuition Reimbursement - All full-time, regular Paradigm employees in good standing with the organization that have been with the organization for at least 90 days are eligible to participate in the program upon Executive approval. - Fitness - Up to $40 per month reimbursement for fitness with proof of payment. - Sam’s Club/COSTCO - Annually in October, employees can sign up for membership through the company at a discount of 50%. - Employee Referral Program - Employee referring a hired candidate receives a monetary award when the new employee reaches 30 days of employment and again at 90 days of employment. - Employee of the Quarter - Peer nominated, Winner receives monetary award as does the employee that nominated the winner. - Length of Service Awards - Starting at 5 years of employment - Awards are tax free. - Birthday and Company Anniversary Gifts - Each year on the employee's birthday and again on their company anniversary, the employee receives a monetary tax-free gift.
