As a Salesforce Developer at Nuvitek, you will take an active role in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions for federal government clients. You will work on complex projects involving: - Multi-state system consolidations - Integrations with external and legacy systems - Data migration into the Salesforce platform - Custom application development You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on full lifecycle implementations from discovery through deployment, contributing technical expertise while continuing to grow your skills. In this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. What you will be doing: - Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and related technologies - Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and security guidelines - Configure complex workflows, approval processes, and custom objects to meet federal requirements - Integrate Salesforce with external and legacy systems using APIs, web services, and middleware - Plan and execute data migration, transformation, and cleansing between Salesforce, legacy systems, and cloud data warehouses, ensuring accuracy and integrity - Build and test solutions to meet Section 508 accessibility standards - Implement security measures aligned with federal standards such as FISMA and NIST - Participate in a support and help desk rotation, triaging and resolving issues in JIRA - Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring optimal system performance - Stay current on Salesforce releases and assess their impact on existing implementations - Collaborate with stakeholders during requirement gathering and solution design phases - Maintain thorough documentation of designs, processes, and configurations - Mentor and assist Associate Consultants on development and design challenges - Support internal business development activities including demos and technical discussions Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Sales and Service Cloud projects - Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript - Experience integrating Salesforce with external and legacy systems via REST/SOAP APIs - Exposure to and a working understanding of AWS services; deep hands-on AWS experience is not required - Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, and with ETL and data migration techniques - Demonstrated experience implementing security in Salesforce applications; familiarity with federal frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP is a plus - Experience building or testing to Section 508 accessibility standards is a plus - Strong proficiency in data management and migration techniques - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required) - Salesforce Certified Administrator (required) - Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional (obtained within first year) - Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant (obtained within first year) - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred) - Pre-Sales accreditation (to be obtained) Benefits - Medical Insurance - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Disability and Life Insurance - Parental Leave - 401K - Paid Time Off Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Nuvitek is an equal-opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
