Job Description
Senior Technical Recruiter
Coalition, Inc.
Role Description As a Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract) on Coalition’s Talent team, you will lead full-cycle hiring for high-impact roles across Engineering, Product, Security, Data, and adjacent technical functions. You will anchor searches from initial intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and close, acting as a strategic business partner to hiring managers in a highly competitive market. We’re a nimble team utilizing AI and related tools on a daily basis to help automate manual tasks so we can focus on what matters: hiring manager relationships, building efficient interview processes & speaking with high quality candidates. You should excel at crafting relationships from scratch and move quickly at the top of funnel. Within the first 30 days you’ll learn to pitch the Coalition story, master the ideal candidate profile and translate that into robust pipelines at every stage. Each day you’ll be spending time in Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, Glean and more. This is a contract role but we fully expect you to build deep, meaningful relationships with hiring leaders and act as a true business partner to drive quality hiring outcomes. Responsibilities - Own end-to-end recruiting for technical and product roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, process management, and closing. - Build and manage strong candidate pipelines through targeted sourcing, outbound outreach, referrals, and effective use of multiple recruiting tools (Juicebox, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse). - Partner closely with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, design structured interview plans, and align on clear success criteria. - Conduct high-volume weekly recruiter screens to assess skills, motivation, and alignment, while ensuring a consistent and inclusive candidate experience. - Lead offer processes for complex technical hires, shaping compensation and closing strategies to win candidates in competitive markets. - Operate with minimal supervision, managing priorities across multiple concurrent searches and adjusting to evolving business needs. Qualifications - Significant experience as a full-cycle technical recruiter supporting roles such as software engineers, product managers, security engineers, and data eng (AI/ML) in high-growth or startup environments. - Proven sourcing expertise, including creative use of platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter & Juicebox and ability to utilize AI tools to help automate profile discovery, messaging outreach and overall strategy. - Demonstrated success extending, negotiating, and closing complex offers for technical candidates in competitive talent markets (mid-senior-staff-principal levels). - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of partnering with hiring managers as a trusted advisor on profiles, interview design, and hiring decisions. - Clear, compelling storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate Coalition’s mission, products, and technical challenges to diverse candidate audiences. - Comfort operating with minimal direction and high ownership, navigating ambiguity while maintaining quality and pace across multiple searches. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including consistent documentation, pipeline tracking, and follow-through. Bonus Points - Experience recruiting across multiple technical domains (e.g., backend, infrastructure, security, data, and product) at a variety of seniority levels. - Background hiring for remote or distributed technical teams across the United States and Canada. - Experience supporting early-stage or scaling startups where each hire is closely tied to company-level priorities and outcomes. Benefits - Work at Coalition is centered on the joint mission to Protect the Unprotected. - We have built a remote-first, highly inclusive culture that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds. - We trust each other to take responsibility, share ownership of outcomes, and put in the work together to protect businesses from digital risk. - Coalition’s exceptional growth stems from its ability to address real-world problems for organizations of all sizes while remaining true to our founding values of character, humility, responsibility, purpose, authenticity, and inclusion. - We’re always looking for collaborative, inquisitive individuals to join #OurCoalition.
