Behavioral Health Utilization Management Clinician, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN
Sentara Health
• Responsible for review of clinical information from providers ensuring it meets Medical Necessity Criteria • Knowledge of medical necessity criteria for behavioral health and substance use services • Ensures appropriate and accurate claims information is entered for processing of payment
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy REQUIRED
- For Registered Nurses, a Bachelor of Science in nursing is REQUIRED
- Certification/Licensure REQUIRED license must be valid in state of practice.
- Two years of behavioral health REQUIRED
- One year of case management REQUIRED
- Experience in community based mental health services highly preferred
- Utilization Management and Health plan experience preferred
