Role Description Location: Option of Fully Remote or Hybrid (Orlando, FL; New York, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ) As a Contract Recruiter, you will lead full-cycle recruitment supporting one of two key business segments: - News/Media - Digital Platforms and Ventures (DPV) You will partner closely with hiring managers, HRBPs, and business leaders to deliver talent strategies that support growth, innovation, and business performance. Key Responsibilities: - End-to-End Recruitment Ownership: - Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process across one of the following talent segments: - News/Media: - Journalists, Reporters, Editors, Analysts, and Editorial Leadership - Producers, Coordinating Producers, Field Producers, Booking Producers, and Production Operations teams - Digital Media, Audience Growth, Social Media, Community Engagement, and Content Strategy professionals - Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), Subscriber Growth, Partnerships, and Media Operations talent - Digital Platforms and Ventures (DPV): - Software Engineering, Product Management, Data, AI/ML, and UX/UI roles - Growth Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Operations professionals - Corporate and business support functions within high-growth digital and technology businesses - Strategic Talent Consulting: - Partner with business leaders and HR to develop recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities and hiring goals. - Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: - Build proactive talent pipelines and execute sourcing strategies that attract top talent in competitive markets. - Stakeholder Partnership: - Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing talent market insights, interview guidance, and recruiting expertise throughout the hiring process. Qualifications - 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering quality hires in fast-paced, high-growth environments. - Experience recruiting within one or more of the following industries: - News, media, publishing, broadcast, streaming, or digital content organizations - Digital platforms, SaaS, technology companies, venture-backed startups, or innovation-driven enterprises - Experience recruiting across a variety of professional disciplines and levels, from individual contributors through leadership roles. - Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent searches and delivering results in competitive talent markets. - Strong sourcing expertise utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search methodologies, talent mapping, and social recruiting tools. - Proven ability to influence and partner with hiring managers, HRBPs, and business leaders. - Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with ATS platforms, recruiting technologies, and talent analytics. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
