Reporting to the Medical Director, you’ll screen, diagnose, and treat patients struggling with sleep issues, directly shaping their health outcomes and quality of life. Qualifications - A minimum of 5 years experience of direct patient care. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in sleep or sleep medicine is required for candidates who wish to start within one month. - Applicants without prior sleep experience must enroll in the Dreem Health Academy program — a paid, 4-week training course. Completion of this course is mandatory before beginning any work with patients. - A Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. - A CA and KY APRN License AND one or more additional state licenses are required. - Active CA Furnishing license AND KY prescriptive authority for non-controlled substances/devices. - Must be able to work full time, a minimum of 36 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. Requirements - Providing comprehensive sleep medicine care via telemedicine. - Thoroughly documenting patient interactions using our customized EHR. - Applying appropriate billing procedures. - Participating in quality control and improvement activities. - Returning patient messages and calls in a timely fashion. - Facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities. - Keeping current with and following AASM guidelines and clinic medical protocols in your clinical care and decisions. • Opening insurance claims for No-Fault benefits and Bodily Injuries. • Communicating effectively with insurance companies on a daily basis via email and phone to obtain status updates on Liability and BI amounts. • Contacting hospitals, medical offices, and doctors to obtain status reports on client attendance and treatment. • Reviewing and organizing medical records, extracting relevant information, and storing documents chronologically and neatly within the electronic system. • Answering calls, taking information, and patching calls to the proper personnel in the US. • Staying on top of clients' weekly treatment attendance. • Maintaining strict confidentiality and security of all patient information. • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
