Role Description As Founding GTM & Biz Dev at Valent, you will work directly with the founder to: - Identify the right customers and understand their workflows. - Refine our positioning and generate pipeline. - Run outreach and support sales conversations. - Help shape the company’s early revenue and partnership strategy. You will operate across the full commercial stack: - Prospecting and lead research. - Outbound campaigns and CRM management. - Discovery calls and strategic partnerships. - Sales materials and customer interviews. - Competitive research and feedback loops between the market and product. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to: - Help figure out what works. - Build relationships from scratch. - Shape how the company grows. Because Valent is an early-stage company, this role is best suited for someone who: - Is comfortable with ambiguity. - Communicates clearly in a remote environment. - Can take ownership without needing every detail specified upfront. Qualifications - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to write thoughtful, concise, personalized outreach. - Experience in sales, business development, or related fields. - Highly organized with the ability to manage follow-ups and CRM data. - Curiosity about enterprise workflows, manufacturing, compliance, and operations. - Comfortable speaking with senior professionals and asking thoughtful discovery questions. - Ability to operate with urgency without sacrificing quality. - Willingness to test, learn, iterate, and improve based on market feedback. - Desire to join early and help shape the commercial foundation of a company. Requirements - Experience with B2B SaaS sales or business development. - Experience in founder-led sales or early-stage startup GTM. - Outbound prospecting on LinkedIn and email. - Familiarity with tools like Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, etc. - Experience selling to manufacturing, supply chain, or compliance teams. - Experience with customer discovery, user interviews, or market research. - Experience in writing sales copy or product messaging. - Experience in building lead lists and researching niche markets. Role Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer III to support the modernization of mission-critical applications and services. This role is primarily backend-focused, though candidates with full-stack experience are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET development, microservices architecture, API design, and modern software engineering practices.
