Role Description Join our Xplor Pay team as AI Transformation Lead in the United States to make a real impact every day. Reporting into the Chief Product Officer, you will help us define, own, and execute Xplor's artificial intelligence strategy, bridging business objectives, product vision, and technical capabilities to ensure AI investments drive measurable value. Some of the other responsibilities include: - Defining and maintaining a clear, company-wide AI strategy aligned with business goals and long-term roadmap, including identifying high-impact use cases across products, operations, risk, customer experience, and internal workflows. - Owning the AI initiative portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing to ensure solutions are pragmatic and scalable. - Translating business problems into AI opportunities and driving pilots from concept to production, with a focus on measurable outcomes. - Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver AI solutions embedded into core workflows. - Acting as the primary interface between executive leadership and technical teams for AI-related decisions. - Establishing AI governance frameworks covering transparency, security, and regulatory compliance, and ensuring responsible use of generative AI, machine learning, and automation technologies. - Monitoring evolving AI regulations and industry standards, adapting strategy as the landscape changes. - Building internal AI literacy through frameworks, playbooks, and best practices, and influencing a culture shift toward AI-driven decision-making and automation. - Evaluating build vs. buy decisions, managing key AI vendor relationships, and staying current on AI trends, platforms, and tooling including GenAI, LLMs, and MLOps. You can work fully remote in this position, provided you have eligible working rights and are in a time zone with enough overlap to collaborate with your team. The average base salary pay range for this position is USD $150,000 to USD $160,000. May be considered for a discretionary annual bonus. Qualifications - 8 to 12 or more years of experience in strategy, product, data, technology, or consulting roles. - Demonstrated experience leading AI, data, or advanced analytics initiatives from strategy through to execution. - Strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, generative AI, and data-driven systems, with technical depth that allows you to engage meaningfully without needing to write code daily. - Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate confidently at the executive level. - Experience translating complex business problems into scalable, pragmatic AI solutions. - Ability to establish and maintain governance frameworks covering transparency, security, and regulatory compliance. Requirements - Experience working in highly regulated or complex business environments. - Familiarity with MLOps practices and the tooling ecosystem around LLMs and generative AI. - Track record of managing AI vendor relationships and making informed build vs. buy decisions. - Experience driving organizational change management and building AI literacy across non-technical teams. - Exposure to the payments, fintech, or vertical SaaS industry.
