Role Description Garonit Pharmaceutical is seeking an accomplished and highly connected Vice President of Business Development – Personal Care to lead strategic growth initiatives. This is a true hunter role focused on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the personal care industry. - Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive revenue growth within the personal care market. - Leverage existing industry relationships to generate new sales opportunities and expand Garonit's customer base. - Identify and secure new business with multinational and emerging personal care brands. - Promote Garonit's portfolio of personal care active ingredients, specialty ingredients, and manufacturing capabilities. - Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across R&D, procurement, sourcing, and commercial teams. - Collaborate with technical, regulatory, operations, and marketing teams to develop customer-focused solutions. - Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close. - Represent Garonit at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events. - Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the personal care industry. - Achieve and exceed annual revenue growth objectives. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field. - 10+ years of business development, sales, or commercial leadership experience within the personal care ingredients industry. - Demonstrated success developing and growing personal care ingredient accounts. - Existing book of business and industry relationships capable of supporting $20–25 million+ in annual revenue opportunities. - Strong understanding of personal care ingredients, cosmetic formulations, and product development processes. - Proven track record of acquiring and growing strategic customer relationships. - Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. - Ability to travel approximately 25–50%.
