Quality Manager
Electric Hydrogen
• Lead quality activities throughout the full lifecycle of product development, procurement, fabrication, construction, and project delivery • Develop and manage quality processes, procedures, and programs to support successful project execution • Build, contract, and manage quality personnel and third-party inspection resources to support procurement, fabrication, and construction activities • Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and establish quality hold points throughout fabrication, manufacturing, and construction processes • Provide quality leadership and oversight during project construction activities • Deliver quality updates and project quality reporting to internal stakeholders and customers • Own the non-conformance management process, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation • Partner with Supply Chain to build, maintain, and continuously improve the Approved Vendor List (AVL) • Evaluate suppliers for ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, and other applicable certifications required for hydrogen and oxygen service equipment • Review and approve fabricator drawings, weld maps, material lists, and manufacturing documentation for compliance with project specifications, codes, and customer requirements • Develop project-specific quality requirements and quality clauses for inclusion in supplier contracts and purchase orders • Coordinate PED 2014/68/EU conformity assessments with notified bodies • Own project EU Technical Files and issue EU Declarations of Conformity • Develop and approve FAT and SAT procedures and lead Factory Acceptance Testing activities at supplier facilities • Resolve punch-list items and quality issues prior to shipment • Review and approve packaging, preservation, and transportation documentation • Own End-of-Manufacturing Record Books and ensure compliance with PED and project requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of quality experience supporting fabrication, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or project development environments
- 4+ years of experience in a Quality Manager, Lead Quality Engineer, or equivalent leadership role
- Demonstrated experience leading quality teams, inspectors, contractors, and third-party quality resources
- Experience developing, implementing, and improving quality programs and quality management systems
- Proven track record of successful quality execution across multiple projects within Europe, including concurrent project support
- Experience working with module fabricators and manufacturing partners throughout Europe
- Strong understanding of supplier qualification, auditing, inspection, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborative approach to building relationships across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, project delivery, and customer teams
- Fluent English required
- Business-level Spanish or German preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel 40–60% during fabrication, inspection, and Factory Acceptance Testing phases
- Europe-based with proximity to major fabrication and manufacturing hubs preferred

Role Description The Informatics manager serves as a focal point and is highly visible throughout the Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition Department as well as the OHSU enterprise. This role helps to coordinate intra and interdepartmental projects as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy informatics team members.
