Associate Wholesale Customer and Operations Representative

Role Description Entry-level role that serves as the first point of contact (calls, emails, chats) and resolution for service issues, requests, policies, procedures, and billing/account information. Communicates directly with agents/agent staff to help with carrier information and procedures. Escalates more complex issues to appropriate subject matter area expert. Position Compensation Range: $25.00 - $31.88 Pay Rate Type: Hourly Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities - Serves as first point of contact (calls, emails, chats) and resolution for service issues, requests, policies, procedures, and billing/account information. - Continuous learning about insurance brokerage terminology, concepts, processes and procedures. - Assists agents and staff with carrier information and general processes and procedures. - Processes policy information including issuance of policies and certificates. Ensures accuracy and completeness according to carrier specifications. - Orders inspections as requested. - Escalates more complex issues to appropriate subject matter area expert. - May be required to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. - Demonstrated experience and proficiency using PC software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, etc.) - Basic knowledge and understanding of property and casualty customer service or policy processing processes, terms and procedures. - Demonstrated experience using reference materials. - Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Requirements - Travel Requirements: Up to 5%. - Physical Requirements: Work that primarily involves sitting/standing. • Communicating cash and position discrepancies with external accounting administrator or trustee bank to ensure trades are processed and settled accurately for bank loans on each existing CLO or CLO warehouse • Validating SMF data of new loans to our portfolios • Answer a large volume of questions regarding trade allocations, KYC data, etc. with a target of same day response (sometimes very time sensitive) • Effectively communicate with internal and external partners and customers • Prepare documents and communicate elections for corporate actions • Reconcile and research loan rating variances and other security attributes as required • Assist with reconciliation and request of funds during warehouse stage • Support internal and external audit requests as needed • Keep detailed supporting documentation of processes and individual transactions • Build-out new processes and improvements on a regular basis • Proactively improve current operating procedures • Other tasks as assigned
