The Role As Project Manager – US West Trail Data Team Lead, you’ll own the accuracy and quality of AllTrails trail data for the Western US (including Alaska and Hawaii). You’ll coordinate research and editing work across sprints, lead a team of contractors, and partner with teammates to ensure our trail guides meet a high standard for users. What You'll Do Ensure the ongoing accuracy, completeness, and consistency of AllTrails trail data for the Western US Manage and support a team of contractors contributing to trail data projects Coordinate and execute research tasks; independently drive work through each sprint Review deliverables and provide clear, actionable feedback to maintain product quality for US users Support QA efforts, including assisting with QA testing as needed Requirements Perks & Benefits Competitive and equitable compensation, including ownership through equity and performance-based bonuses. Job Requirements
- Basic SQL skills
- Experience with Google Suite and Google Looker (or other data analytics platforms)
- Managerial experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through
- Ability to prioritize effectively and focus on high-impact work
- Ability to sustain focus for long periods on a single task
