Digital Marketing Manager, Startup Programs

• Plan, promote, and execute demand and lead generation marketing plans to drive program acquisition through paid media, webinars, and web placements • Design and manage outbound lead generation campaigns across web, email, LinkedIn, social media, and paid advertising channels • Support additional digital marketing efforts, including content creation, email marketing, social media strategy, and campaign analysis • Craft clear, persuasive messaging tailored to distinct audience segments • Monitor campaign performance metrics and iterate to optimize results • Collaborate with sales, partnerships, and marketing teams to align on goals, lead quality, and follow-up strategies • Use marketing automation and CRM tools to manage campaigns and reporting

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant digital marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of startups and the startup ecosystem
  • Proven experience executing paid media, web, webinar, and other lead generating campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn, Reddit, and Product Hunt
  • Strong command of digital marketing channels including email marketing, social media outreach, paid ads, and content marketing
  • Proficiency with webinar platforms (Zoom, GoToWebinar, or similar) and marketing automation/CRM tools (Marketo, Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication skills with strong copywriting ability
  • Data-driven approach focused on tracking performance and optimizing campaigns
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.

Role Description The Digital Advertising Strategist is an experienced digital advertiser with hands-on campaign management experience who will support Fluency’s Managed accounts while also supporting Advertising Engineers and Advertising Architects as they work with Fluency’s Managed & Unmanaged clients to achieve the clients goals. The Digital Strategist assists with many aspects of the client relationship such as making campaign optimizations and updates to Google and Facebook Ads’ campaigns, making PPC campaign strategy recommendations, handling incoming client requests, and troubleshooting technical issues.
