Role Description The Vice President, Distribution Center Operations is responsible for leading the strategic and operational performance of a multi-site distribution network that supports Dollar Tree’s retail business objectives. This executive leader provides oversight for a region of distribution centers, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while driving service excellence, productivity, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Operations, the Vice President serves as a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team and is accountable for delivering operational results through strong leadership, disciplined execution, workforce engagement, and innovation. This role partners closely with Transportation, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Human Resources, Finance, Asset Protection, and Store Operations to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively across the network. Through a relentless focus on safety, people development, operational excellence, and scalable solutions, the Vice President plays a critical role in advancing Dollar Tree’s supply chain strategy and supporting the company’s long-term growth. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 15+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, or distribution center leadership experience. - Minimum of 10 years leading large-scale, multi-site distribution operations in a senior leadership capacity. - Proven experience leading complex distribution networks within retail, consumer goods, grocery, or high-volume distribution environments. - Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing large operating budgets and capital investments. - Experience leading transformational change initiatives and driving measurable operational improvements. - Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), labor management systems, automation technologies, and distribution operations. - Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams across multiple locations. - Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. - Knowledge of common food safety practices and audit procedures. - Strong end-to-end distribution knowledge.
