Senior Java Developer – Healthcare, PBM Platform
Conduent
• Designing and developing Java-based applications and microservices • Building scalable solutions for high-performance transaction systems • Collaborating in Agile ceremonies including planning, estimations, and design sessions • Partnering with product and project teams to provide technical estimates and updates • Troubleshooting complex production and system issues • Driving development tasks independently with minimal supervision • Working with distributed teams across multiple time zones • Reporting critical issues clearly and proactively • Supporting system architecture and hands-on development as needed • Conducting peer code reviews and mentoring junior developers • Ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices
Job Requirements
- Demonstrate 6+ years of software development experience
- Demonstrate strong expertise in Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Build applications using web services (SOAP/REST) and microservices architecture
- Utilize frameworks such as Struts, Spring MVC, and ESB technologies (Camel/Fuse)
- Apply authentication protocols including OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID
- Develop front-end components using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks
- Use repositories and DevOps tools such as Git, SVN, Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins
- Write optimized Oracle SQL queries
- Solve complex technical problems and learn new technologies quickly
- Apply knowledge of system design, architecture, and security best practices
- Work with distributed teams and manage priorities independently
- Demonstrate at least 3+ years of U.S.-based experience
- Hold 10+ years of overall industry experience.
