Senior QA Engineer

Role Description Own and drive front-end quality assurance and accessibility compliance strategy for the Cúram enterprise web application. Proactively establish robust UI validation frameworks, champion WCAG adherence across the organisation, and independently lead test strategy evolution for functional and accessibility validation throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities - Quality Leadership - Design, author, and execute comprehensive FVT test plans for UI components, with deep focus on screen reader and keyboard navigation validation. - Independently investigate, reproduce and complete root-cause analysis of complex, multi-layered UI defects; provide definitive validation evidence and technical guidance to engineering teams. - Identify & anticipate quality risks and proactively implement preventative measures early in the SDLC. - Drive the alignment of quality standards across UI Development, Design, Product and within the QA organisation. - Accessibility Authority - Serve as the Cúram Quality organisation’s subject matter expert on accessibility compliance, validating fixes across ARIA practices, semantic markup, labels, focus management, colour contrast, and screen readers, etc. - Establish accessibility acceptance criteria and mentor development teams on implementation of industry-recognised good practice. - Take ownership of customer accessibility escalations, partnering with Support to triage, diagnose and resolve issues decisively. Qualifications - 5+ years in Quality Engineering for enterprise web applications with demonstrable progression of responsibility. - Proven track record of independently designing and executing sophisticated functional and accessibility test strategies. - Strong technical foundation in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS), with ability to review HTML for quality and accessibility implications. - Hands-on expertise in accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2), ARIA patterns and screen reader testing. - Self-starter mindset: you identify gaps, propose solutions and drive initiatives to completion without direction. - Exceptional communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders, document complex technical findings and translate requirements into actionable quality criteria. Nice-to-Have - Experience building or contributing to test automation frameworks. - Contributions to accessibility communities or open-source projects. - Certification in accessibility (CPACC, WAS or equivalent). Compensation The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
