Role Description As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction of a project throughout its entire lifecycle, from initiating through closing phases. The PM depends on the help of other people to perform most of the actual activities of the project, focusing primarily on written and verbal communication to all project stakeholders. The PM is responsible for overseeing and performing project management functions on all client site projects, budgets, and scopes. This position will provide direction to a wide range of internal and external personnel. What You’ll Do - Daily activities include project communications, scheduling, task lists for technicians, managing deliverables from/for other departments, and overseeing project completion to client expectations. - Responsible for completing systems integration projects on time, on budget, and achieving high customer satisfaction. - Develop a strong long-term relationship with the client, managing expectations, communications, and satisfaction. - Provide clear leadership and ownership for the project within Diversified. - Coordinate all activities associated with timely, accurate, and on-budget project completion. - Ensure appropriate and frequent communication between stakeholders. - Provide support and assistance to team members as needed. - Develop and maintain all related project schedules. - Perform field verification of prospective work sites. - Document all issues with the site and keep everyone informed of potential issues and solutions. - Coordinate all drawings and documentation between all internal and external stakeholders. - Facilitate and direct design reviews to assure proper documentation in the field. - Coordinate all system programming and final checkout of systems. - Provide punch-list of remaining tasks after substantial completion. - Coordinate training & turnover of projects to client, service department, & sales. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee: - Exposure to construction site conditions on a regular basis. - Responsible for safety while on job sites and compliance with all safety regulations. - Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. - Ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs, and lift/move materials up to 20 pounds. - Regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment, and controls for SI installation projects. - Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth vision. - Normal office conditions when not on construction sites, requiring use of office equipment. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades, AV, or digital signage. - Strong technical abilities and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. - Experience in a client-facing role with a pleasant professional demeanor. - A solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices. - Travel up to 25% of the time is required. - Must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence. Role Description The Senior Biospecimen Project Manager will be the centralized point of contact to drive biospecimen lifecycle management and resulting analytical data from clinical studies. Please note: This is a remote role is open to candidates based in the United States. Candidates located in California are eligible only if they reside outside of the San Francisco Bay Area (defined as locations more than 100 miles from the Bay Area). Responsibilities: - Drive biospecimen lifecycle management from sample receipt to analysis and final disposition - Ensure accurate specimen metadata - Communicate study specimen updates to client groups and stakeholders - Increase the efficiency of specimen management through sharing of knowledge and best practices - Provide site support and drive query resolution - Participate or lead special projects as assigned - Adhere to client policies and Standard Operating Procedures - Review clinical study protocols and service providers’ scope of work documents for sample handling and processing details - Set up and maintain a complex study sample tracker – experience in manual sample tracking for complex clinical studies - Create and manage project plans - Manage data transfer plans with analytical laboratories - Manage data received from external and internal laboratories, including data generated in exploratory studies - Manage specimen metadata discrepancies and ensure resolution - Submit specimens for analytical assays per study timelines - Review status of specimens collected and completeness of data - Contribute to meeting database locks by ensuring all specimens have a final result and data transfer is complete; create reports for data management as needed - Provide guidance to others and act as technical resource within the department - Lead projections for annual and long-term planning to clinical team - Provide oversight and management to junior personnel Qualifications - Understanding of transaction-based inventory and data management systems as well as clinical trial processes - Understanding of ICH, GCP, GLP, and local regulations - LabMatrix experience preferred - Strong excel experience required, extensive macro and template building knowledge desired - Strong computer literacy, including Word, SharePoint, Smartsheet and PowerPoint - Advanced planning, organizational, time management skills Requirements - B.A./B.S. in life sciences, medical technology, or related field and 5-7 years of directly related experience - Experience in life sciences or medically related fields, including clinical development, biospecimen lifecycle management, or clinical laboratory analysis - Project Management experience is also preferred - Very high attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking skills is required for success in this position
